Worship Ministry

Pastor Rick Warren said “God pleasing worship is deeply emotional and deeply doctrinal. We use both our hearts and hands”. This is what the FCC worship team believes. The FCC worship team led by Purtemjen is a dedicated and talented group of committed worshippers, who lead through example. Every Sunday the worship team leads the congregation in inspiring worship.

The presence of God is powerful and the congregation is blessed as the team sings songs in English and Hindi in praise of our God.

The team meets for prayer and practice during the week. FCC members are encouraged to join the worship team if they have a call for this ministry.

Youth Ministry

From the inception of the ministry the Lord has helped FCC to influence and motivate youngsters to take the words of King Solomon “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth” seriously. Over the years a lot of time, effort and resources have been invested into the lives of the youth of the Tri-city. As a result FCC is blessed with a vibrant group of committed youngsters from different parts of our Nation who are passionate about their faith.

The youth are actively involved in all facets of the Ministry of the church. The young people are mentored and guided by a committed group of elders and youth leaders who invest their time to develop the youth to reach their full potential. The youth are motivated to excel in their academic pursuits and be future leaders of influence in different spheres.

The regular programmes for the youth include Bible studies, get-togethers, seminars and counseling sessions. The FCC summer camps are a much awaited event every year. The camp is organized at Spirit filled worship, inspiring messages and great time of fun and fellowship are integral part of the camp which challenge the youth for a deeper walk with God. Apart from this games and other fun activities also form the main attraction of the camp. Every year youth return from the camp refreshed and rejuvenated.

The members of the youth leadership committee are: Manivaran, Sameer, Sonam, Jesse and Sathish.

Women’s Ministry

The Deborah ministry is coordinated by Susan Varghese. The FCC women are actively involved in all the church activities. The ladies meet every month for a time of prayer, fellowship and study of God’s word. The time of study is very intense, during the last few months the women are doing a detailed study from the book of 1 John. Study notes are made available in English and Hindi. The women really look forward for their time together, and have matured in their faith as they pray and study the word together.

Children’s Ministry

“Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old will not turn from it.” (Proverbs 22.6)

This is the motto of the FCC Sunday school. Under the leadership of Tara Cherian the ministry had progressed over the years. With just a handful of children in the early years, the Sunday school has grown in number. FCC believes that the children are a gift from God and each of them are unique and special, who need to be nurtured differently.

A committed team of dedicated teachers teach and motivate these precious ones to live Godly lives and be disciplined citizens of our Nation.

Prayer Ministry

Dr. Robert Coleman said, “Prayer is striking the winning blow, and evangelism is the gathering of the harvest”. The leadership of FCC believes in the power of prayer. The growth of the ministry can be attributed to the sincere prayer of the saints over the last many years.

FCC members meet every Friday in different homes of the believers to fast and prayer for the Church and the Nation. Occasionally the members also meet for a few days of prayer and fasting.

A group of prayer warriors who are part of a prayer chain intercede for the need of the Church, city and Nation on a daily basis.

The FCC prayer ministry is coordinated by Nalini Sharma.
